MU Piping Calculator (“the App”) provides piping engineering calculators and reference data for educational and professional guidance (Oil & Gas, petrochemical, offshore, refinery, construction).
The App is designed to work with minimal data collection:
If you use the web version, the site may be hosted on a third-party static host (for example GitHub Pages). That host may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and date/time of access as part of normal web server operation. We do not use this for advertising profiles.
If you install the Android app package (TWA / PWA wrapper), Google Play and Android may process install/diagnostics data under Google’s policies.
The App does not require access to contacts, camera, microphone, location, or files for core calculator features. Optional system features (share sheet, print/PDF) use the device’s built-in tools and stay under your control.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Local storage is used only for preferences and favorites described above. If analytics are added in a future version, this policy will be updated before they are enabled.
The App is intended for adult engineering and technical users. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country).
Results are for guidance only. Always verify critical design values against applicable codes (e.g. ASME), project specifications, and a qualified engineer. We are not liable for decisions made solely on App output.
Local preferences remain on your device until you clear site/app data or uninstall the App. We do not operate a personal-data database for App users.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
